We have two highly advanced MRI machines available to you. The GE Optima MR430s 1.5T – is Utah’s first “Anatomy Specific” 1.5T extremity MRI system and is used for hands, fingers, wrists, elbows, ankles, knees, feet, and toes. For areas such as the spine, head, neck, shoulders, torso, hips and Functional MRI’s (fMRI); we utilize the GE Horizon 1.5T.
MRI is safe, unlike a typical CT scan (The radiation used in an average CT scan is equal to 500 x-rays.) MRI uses NO radiation!
